monday, my least favorite day of the week. back to work. back to the real world. sigh. today was even more of a monday because i fly out for a work trip tomorrow and i didn't want to come in to a big bear of a workload to tackle before leaving.
as mondays go, nothing can ever be just right. made a last minute purchase over the weekend and was happy it arrived today. of course the box had to be mangled... good thing it's just clothes lol.

the day felt rushed, yet slow. if that makes any sense. got a lot done at work, and yet i left feeling wildly unproductive. i planned to squeeze in some gym time after work, but the errands continued long after i clocked out. next thing i knew, it was getting dark and late.
here i am. putting the final touches on packing. i have all my travel docs ready. flight info. hotel reservation. itinerary for the next few days. this traveling girl is set!
