let the holiday season commence!! in case i've never mentioned it before, this is my FAVORITE time of the year :)
hints of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and other scrumptious spices littering the air. the crisp chill. baking season!! and family (heart).
welcome holiday season. welcome fall. welcome!
and here we are again. another month wrapped up, and a new one just beginning. in the spirit of: 1. the closing of one chapter and beginning of another, 2. my fondness of the #thankful and #gratitude social media trend, 3. my life simply not being all too interesting lately, and 4. being in a list kind of mood, i've decided to list a few of october's memorable moments, along with a few things i'm looking forward to this month.
october
1. the most eventful and memorable happening was of course moving. i know, as if i haven't talked about it enough already. but i feel so blessed and thankful to have a roof over my head, and a new place to call home, sweet home. it's hard to believe a whole month has gone by already! it feels like we just moved in, and yet, like we've been here for so much longer than a month.
2. it goes without saying that picking up my wedding dress makes my october's most-memorable list. lace, ruching, and ivory. oh my!!
3. halloween! (queue thunder and lightning) i actually dressed up this year! well, at work that is. i didn't have any super awesome, spooky party plans, but i did get to volunteer at a community safe-trick-or-treating event. holy cuteness level through the roof!! all the babies, toddlers, and kiddos dressed as superheroes, princesses, ninjas, animals... oh, my heart just melts!!

november
1. firstly, i am so, super excited for our engagement shoot that's coming up in a little over a week!! eeekkk!!! our "theme" is lazy morning picnic on the trail. donuts. coffee. snuggly, oversized blanket. cuddles. the wild outdoors. it's so us!! :)
2. one word. movember. if you haven't heard of movember, please check out this amazing movement here. men's cancer awareness means a lot more to me than you'd think. my father went through radiation therapy earlier this year, and is currently working towards becoming stronger and healthier. he won't technically be considered "in remission" until he's been cancer free for two years straight. regardless, he's a survivor. all the more reason to feel so, so thankful and blessed that someone is watching over him.

3. thanksgiving, duh! only my most favorite-est-est-est holiday of them all :)
we're having dinner with the dude's family this year. it's been so long since the last time we were all together for a holiday, and i'm excited!
what are you looking forward to this month?
are you excited for the holiday season?
